The Music, The Moments, The Memories (From the Archives)

Over the past five years, Hunter Brothers Media has been fortunate enough to photograph, film and review an extraordinary mix of artists from across Australia and around the world. From emerging local musicians taking their first steps onto Perth stages to international acts performing in packed arenas and at major festivals, our cameras have captured thousands of moments that tell the story of live music.

Every performance has added another chapter to an archive that continues to grow with the Australian music scene.

Our back catalogue features some of the most recognised names in music, including Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Kate Ceberano, Jon Stevens, Baby Animals, John Butler, Tim Finn, The Whitlams, The Superjesus, Chocolate Starfish, Royal Blood, Franz Ferdinand, Yungblud, Tom Jones, Ed Sheeran, Kraftwerk, Basement Jaxx and many more.

Alongside these established artists, we have proudly covered countless independent and emerging performers—the musicians playing smaller venues, releasing their first records and building the foundations of what could become remarkable careers.

This archive is more than a collection of photographs and reviews; it is a visual record of the people, venues and unforgettable moments that make live music so special. From sweaty pub gigs and intimate acoustic performances to outdoor festivals, historic venues and sold-out stadium shows, Hunter Brothers Media has always aimed to capture the energy of the stage and the connection between an artist and their audience.

“From the Archives” celebrates the incredible artists we have been lucky enough to cover and the wonderfully unpredictable journey music has taken us on.
